To check Aadhaar status you should need to enter the 28-digit enrollment identification number (EID), Applicant name on enrollment and area pin code given at the time of enrollment.
If the status displayed is ‘in process’, it may be re-checked after Aadhaar status a month.
If it shows that the Aadhaar card was ‘Generated’, then one may download the e-Aadhaar from the UIDAI portal.
If the status displayed is ‘Processing not possible due to technical reasons’, then the resident must re-enroll himself.
If the status shows ‘Not found’, the search must be done on the upload portal http://upload.uidai.gov.in.
If the status of EID shows ‘Missing packet’, then search must be done on the Aadhaar portal http://portal.uidai.gov.in.
