KARTET Paper I for classes I to V Duration of examination will be one and half hours .Structure and Content (All Compulsory) of Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test(i) Child Development and Pedagogy will consist of 30 MCQs carrying 30 Marks
(ii) Language I will consist of 30 MCQs carrying 30 Marks
(iii) Language II will consist of 30 MCQs carrying 30 Marks
(iv) Mathematics will consist of 30 MCQs carrying 30 Marks
(v) Environmental Studies will consist of 30 MCQs carrying 30 Marks
Hence a Total of 150 MCQs carries 150 Marks
KARTET Paper II for classes VI to VIII Duration of examination will be one and half hours. Structure and Content of Karnataka Teachers Eligibility Test
(i) Child Development & Pedagogy (compulsory) will consist of 30 MCQs carrying 30 Marks
(ii) Language I (compulsory) will consist of 30 MCQs carrying 30 Marks
(iii) Language II (compulsory) will consist of 30 MCQs carrying 30 Marks
(iv)(a) For Mathematics and Science teacher test will be conducted in Mathematics and Science
(b) For Social Studies/Social Science teacher test will be conducted in Social Science
(c) For any other teacher test will be conducted in either (a) or (b)
60 MCQs carrying 60 Marks
